Stacking The shelves

Stacking The Shelves #4

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! This Meme is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews

My birthday is coming up (Sept. 7) and since I’m going to Vegas for my Birthday, my Ma ended up sending my birthday money early. So, of course I decided to buy books with every last cent of it! Not everything I ordered has arrived, but I figured I would show off what I have gotten so far. Some of these I did buy on my own, but most were a “gift” from my Ma.

I had hauled Ugly Love already, but that was an ARC and my husband surprised me with an actual copy!

Ok So Jam isn’t really a book, but I bought this Jam this weekend and Who ever figured out that Raspberries and Jalapenos go together in a Jam should be kissed. This is the best jam I have ever had in my entire life and it would be selfish not to share with the world!

Discuss any of these books with me below and yes If you wanna discuss Jam (I usually despise jellies and jams so liking this jam is a big deal) I am all for it! I’m thinking of maybe doing a Jam giveaway (with a book of course) would that be too weird?

  1. Fantastic haul!! I had to buy a hard copy of Ugly Love too. It’s my fav this year. I also ordered the On Dublin Series and waiting for final book to come in mail. Love those books!!

  2. I’m totally joining the JAM giveaway if it’s an international giveaway! I love Jalapenos so I’ll be all over it.

I’m familiar with all of your books but I haven’t read any of them (is that bad news?)

    1. No def not bad news! I have a book buying problem, and these books will probably sit on my shelf for years until I actually get to them (if were being completely honest).
If I dont decide to do a Jam giveaway, I will just send you a jar and spread the goodness. I think everyone should have it, but if more people show an interest then I will do the giveaway

      1. Really? 😀 I should warn you though, I live halfway around the world! But you really got me at “send you a jar”. It was so wonderful of you to spread THE goodness.

I know. It’s every bookworm’s problem I think, buying faster than we can read them. But ahhh it’s what makes us happy.

  3. Hot diggady! You sure know how to spend. All of your picks look awesome. Now my Chris wouldn’t dare let me buy that many books at one time. He would stop me then call it an “intervention”. *lol* I see you have 50 Shades Darker. Have you read book one? If so, what are your thoughts. I’ve been too scared to pick it up. I’ve also been dragging my feet on Beautiful Disaster. I have it on ebook and the sequel in paperback. Oh lady I could go on FOREVER about your haul this week. I suppose I’ll save some of it for later. Happy Reading.

    1. ok on the stack of books that were bought from the money my mom sent me, minus the goddess test box set the 8 other books I bought only cost me 19.75 I got most of my books from thriftbooks.com You get to choose the condition of the book (I always choose very good or like new) and the shipping is free.

I am one of the few who actually liked 50 shades I’ve read the first two. Is it the best written book, no. Are the characters the best, no. But the book was entertaining and I actually enjoyed the romance. I thought it was going to be a porn novel, but there was actually more to it than sex. I have read a lot of New Adult books with more description than 50 was.

Beautiful Disaster was SO good! I really enjoyed it, I read it and just loved it. Again it isnt the deepest book, the writing is pretty good, the characters likable, but the romance is what really got me! The lead heroine actually pissed me off a few times, but yeah its good!

  4. I quite literally know a handful of these books, and have read only one (and did not finish it, oops). A great haul anyway, I absolutely love being able to buy a lot of books at the same time and just the sight of a haul makes me happy.

I’m not that big of a jam-fan, but that looks like something I’d try!

  5. Okay…wait. Raspberries and jalapenos??! IN JAM??!! My mind is absolutely boggled at that, lol! I don’t really like jam either though, except for raspberry and strawberry, so maybe I should try that combo someday. Hehe.

Such an awesome haul and of course that’s the best way to spend birthday money. 😉 I love that cover for Everything Leads To You. It’s so gorgeous and I purely want to read the book for cover love. 😉

    1. Everything Leads to You was def a cover buy for me as well! I do a lot of cover buying!
If you like raspberry jam and jalapenos you have to try this! its soooo good on english muffins and croissants! I made an egg and sausage croissant yesterday and added the jam, it was marvelous!

  6. Hmmm, raspberries and jalapenos? Sounds odd, but I think I’ve gotta try it. Enjoy your new books! They look fun. And have a good birthday! Mine’s tomorrow, I’m hoping to get books too…

  7. Amazing haul! I have the Goddess series on my kindle but I haven’t read them yet, really want to though! The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight was fantastic – hope you enjoy it! And that jam sounds AMAZING I’ll have to see if they have it where I live! Happy birthday in advance! 😀

  8. Happy early birthday…and great haul! The Blue Bloods series is awesome and that jam sounds AMAZING! Enjoy your reads, trip, and yummy treat!
