Stacking the Shelves: #5

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course e-books! This Meme is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews

Hey Everyone So this is a continuation of my Early birthday haul. My actual birthday is September 7th, but my mom sent my present early. When I did my STS last weekend not all the books had arrived, so now that almost all are here (5 are still not, but I’m providing pictures of the books anyways) Lets begin!

I am going to start with Review books first

I want to thank both authors for sending me these books to review

  1. This is a great haul!!! I have Fallen by Lauren Kate which I should really get around to reading – it somehow keeps getting bumped down by other books! I will have to check some more of these out!

      1. I didn’t know that – so I guess you learn something everyday! I always get let down by the movies after having read the books, though. I think there is always something more in the books than there are in the films – but I enjoy them nonetheless! 🙂

      2. Yes it will be out 2015. I feel the same way about book to movie adaptations. Sometimes I wish they would just leave the books alone, because then people watch the movie, 8 out of 10x the movie sucks so people think the book sucks. I like books because I can play it out in my head, in a movie they lay it out for me so theres no room for imagination like there is in books.

  2. Is Dearly Departed steampunk? I love the cover. RAIN!!!! I’ve been eyeing that for some time but hesitant whether to buy it…

Oh you also got Ava Lavender! The first line in the blurb was WOW.
Enjoy your new haul! Thanks for checking out my stack!

    1. Dearly Departed is SteamPunk!
The first time I read it I really couldn’t get into it,
but I also wasn’t a big YA reader back then, I read mostly adult romances
and zombies were not my thing, but now that my taste has changed I was to try it again!
      Tanks for stopping
