2. BOOK YOU WERE EXCITED ABOUT & THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO LOVE MORE BUT DIDN’T?

The 5th wave. I was so excited for this book. I waited for the release of Infinite Sea to buy 5th wave. It took me 3 months to finish the book and when I finished I was like WTF…. Are you kidding me!

City of Bones. That book was kind of really disappointing to me.

Trial by Fire. I just got done reading this book and I thought I was going to DNF it @ about 40%, but I pushed through and I am really glad I did!

Best book from a genre I don’t usually read….. I didn’t really go out of my comfort zone this year, and when I did, I was disappointed, but lets see….. New Adult Genre was new to me this yr and I ended up really loving the genre. So again, Ugly Love…. OH Vampire Academy was out of my norm! I liked that a lot!

29. MOST UNIQUE BOOK YOU READ IN 2014?

When I read it, it was called Shattered Veil, but it is now called Rebel Wing and on top of the name change (which I totally dislike and am against) they also changed the cover (Which I dislike and am against). It was very  unique to me, but since they went and made all the changes I decided I was not interested in that series anymore.

30. BOOK THAT MADE YOU THE MOST MAD (DOESN’T NECESSARILY MEAN YOU DIDN’T LIKE IT)?

Ummm the 5th wave. I don’t even want to go into detail. I was angry after reading that book. Almost threw it out the window Bradley Cooper Style.

I went to a really cool book signing where the author did folk music and had food and such it was awesome.

Im not sure. I discovered Thriftbooks, but Im not sure that is a good thing, that site is a hit or miss kinda site. I got some books that came in excellent condition and then I got some books that I bought in excellent condition but were actually not. I had one book seller actually send me a book that was covered in cat urine. Gross!

  1. I really should have done this survey because I’ve had so much fun reading them all. I think Legend was my favorite dystopian this year too. I got the 5th wave, then I heard it’s rather a downer so it’s been gathering dust. I haven’t read splintered yet, but I just got it for Kindle. Throne of Glass is on this years list for me too and Red Queen!
